AWESOME lights!

The old ones were 4 years old …
My husband mounted these under our cabinets with channels and light cover and they look as if a PRO has done it! Second set…AWESOME lights! The old ones were 3 years old and were going strong in wooden bathroom vanity 🙂

I like the color, it’s brilliant. A string by itself gets very warm to the touch, but the heat dissipates once adhered to a surface. Great for any Aluminum channel DIY project.

Very bright, nice color, but HOT! Found a solution to make these PERFECT

As many have commented on, these lights are very bright, almost too bright to look at directly and I love them…however… I am mounting them around a home office working room (which now looks AWESOME) and these lights get hot, almost to the point of burning you if you should touch them. I am not worried about touching them, but rather that being so hot will shorten any LED lifespan.
The solution: I purchased Aluminum channel stick it to surface you want to put the light on (it comes with mounting clamps and end caps), then peel the back off these lights and stick it to the profile extrusion. The aluminum channel is the perfect heat conductor/dissipator so the LEDs stay quite cool and the diffuser reflects light very nicely and looks good if you apply it smoothly (you can press out any wrinkles if you get some).
